• Admission to CUSAT programs is primarily merit-based, with entrance examinations conducted for various courses. The university considers academic performance in qualifying examinations and entrance test scores for admission decisions. The application process for most courses is conducted online, and students can find detailed admission guidelines on the university’s website.
• CUSAT student wants to apply for admission to an IIT (Indian Institutes of Technology), they can do so by following these steps:
• Eligibility: The student should first check the eligibility criteria for admission to the IIT they are interested in applying to. Each IIT has its own eligibility criteria based on factors such as academic qualifications, age, and nationality.
• Prepare for the JEE exam: To be considered for admission to an IIT, students must take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and JEE Advanced exams. Students must prepare for these exams by studying the required syllabus and practicing with sample papers and mock tests.
• Register for the JEE exams: Students can register for the JEE exams online through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the exams. The registration process typically takes place a few months before the exam date.
