Admission to IIT Dhanbad
The admission process for B.Tech programs at IIT Dhanbad is based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced score followed by JoSAA counseling. The JEE Advanced exam is conducted annually.

What are the eligibility criteria for M.Tech programs at IIT Dhanbad?
The eligibility criteria for M.Tech programs at IIT Dhanbad are as follows:
- Candidates must have a B.Tech/B.E/Masters (Science/Arts/Commerce) degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 or 60% marks.
- For GATE candidates, a valid GATE score is required.
- For IIT Graduates, a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in B.Tech is required.
- For Sponsored candidates, a minimum of 60% in M.Tech, a valid GATE score, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant field are required.
